Neighbours Church also employs professional people in the nursery in working with kids who have ECE or university equivalent. Currently Natalia Anderson, graduate of Ottawa University in this area is working with the babies and toddlers and our volunteers to ensure a safe environment.

Board

Currently we are in church planting mode, and do not have an elected church board … We have an advisory committee that functions as a board, and will be replaced by a board of church members, once the church has started and established itself. This board will be representative of the community and follow the constitutional requirements set out in our charitable constitution at Neighbours Church. If you are interested in being a part of the board, the first step is taking out membership in the church and getting involved.

Our advisory board is made up of experts in church planting in Canada. The church planting director of our denomination the ACOP Cal Ellerby, the Director of Ontario for the Mennonite Brethren Trevor Seath, PAOC Missionary in South Africa Jeff Mazik, and the head of Message Canada and Missiologist for the ACOP and C2C, Bill Hogg.
