Hiring For Summer Students in Youth & Kids' Ministry

We are an inter-cultural and multi-generational church plant whose mission is to help people to take one step closer to Jesus and Neighbours every day. When we think about the future of Neighbours Church, we picture a church that is striving to look like heaven. We want to be a people who live out the values we believe Jesus said heaven will look like; even if our church is flawed, very human, and not quite a perfect picture of heaven for now. We believe Jesus is calling us to live the lives today, that we want to live with Him for all eternity.

We are looking for 2 people that are full-time high school or post-secondary students, going into school again in the fall at a registered Canadian school (both workers must be between the ages of 15-30).

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Lead Youth Group (Leadership)
• Teach Youth Bible Lesson (communication)
• Plan for weekly youth event with other leaders (teamwork)
• Social Media for youth and adult programming (digital skills)
• Plan for weekly kids event with other leaders (event planning/teamwork)
• Teach weekly kids event (communication)
• Plan Summer Youth and Kids Budget (financial planning)
• Administrate contact with youth for events and care (client service)
• Weekly outreach events for church (client service)
